Starting June 23, when you walk into an Acura dealership, one of the first vehicles you’ll likely be greeted with is the brand-new 2021 Acura TLX Type S.
Pricing for the Type S starts at $52,300, with the sole option package—the High Performance Wheel & Tire Package that adds lightweight “NSX-inspired” wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires—adding $800 to that bill. (Interestingly enough, that package also drops highway efficiency from 25 mpg to 24 mpg.)
The configurator is now live on Acura’s website, so let us know how you’d configure your S Type. We’d go with Apex Blue Pearl (Tiger Eye Pearl, worn above, comes in at a close second) over the red interior with the High Performance Wheel & Tire Package.
