I've been only once before, but I'm hoping I'll get to go again sometime in the near future.

If you love imports, mark May 12-13 on your calendar for the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals.
Featuring some the best of the best from around the world, the Import & Performance Nationals will offer the chance to see vehicles from Germany, Japan, U.K., Italy, Korea, Sweden and France–all spanned over 80 acres.
Some of the special attractions include Audis of all eras and 50 Years of the Honda Civic, with numerous competitions ranging from autocross to drifting also on the schedule.
We're also planning on attending, just look for Grassroots Motorsports publisher Tim Suddard.

Like a lot of swap meets, a shadow of it's former self. It used to be the go-to place to get parts for vintage Euro trash. Now it's just a car show that costs too much.

Harrisburg is the closest but doesn't have that many flights. Otherwise BWI and PHL are about equidistant so whichever gives you the better flight and rental car.
I'd say the drive up from Baltimore is easier than from Philly. The latter pretty much requires you to take the Turnpike, which is expensive and sucks. If possible, fly into Harrisburg. A little extra spent is worth avoiding the drive.
