IMSA just dropped the 2026 schedules for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Pilot Challenge. The big takeaway? No changes, with the exception of Road America and Indianapolis changing their race lengths.
The Road America race increases to 6 hours. It will also join the other traditional Michelin Endurance Cup races: The Rolex 24 At Daytona, Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and Motul Petit Le Mans. Motul will also become the new presenting sponsor for the Road America event.
The race at Indianapolis decreases from 6 hours to 2 hours and 40 minutes.
“The collaboration between IMSA and our event and promoter partners has allowed us to reveal our 2026 calendar at such an early date for a second consecutive season,” said IMSA President John Doonan. “This collective spirit will help our paddock and fans in preparation for next season, even as we have the majority of the 2025 season still to run.”

March 18-21: Sebring International Raceway
April 17-18: Long Beach Street Circuit (WeatherTech Championship only)
May 1-3: WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
May 29-30: Detroit Grand Prix (WeatherTech Championship only)
June 5-7: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Michelin Pilot Challenge only)
June 25-28: Watkins Glen International
July 10-12: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
July 30-August 2: Road America
August 21-23: Virginia International Raceway
September 18-20: Indianapolis Motor Speedway
September 30-October 3: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

We used to attend the RA 500 race (Pabst 500) in the 80's and they felt like they raced forever. Looking forward to it.
