Entry Lists
The main race being on Peacock means I'll watch it two weeks later on IMSA's app or YouTube channel when it's dropped.
IMSA dropped an old video of an even older race: 1964 Sebring. The 13:30 mark has a real GRM solution to a hot cockpit.
In reply to Coniglio Rampante :
That fix embodied 'Improvise, adapt, overcome' mentality. I love it.
In reply to Coniglio Rampante :
If it's any consolation, it was just announced that the Michelin Pilot Challenge race at Sebring will now air live globally, including the U.S., on YouTube.
I know everyone hates the thought of paying for ANOTHER subscription to watch racing, but back in the day we also paid, it was just your cable bill. Cable didn't always have the channel that showed the racing you wanted to see, so then you had to buy the upgrade package or buy a specific channel or switch providers. It's just a different way of skinning the cat now.
I have peacock and still rarely watch the complete races live because I'm too busy to spend 12 or 24 hrs in front of the TV on a weekend. I can barely watch a 2:40 race in one sitting. It takes me a few weeks to watch a 24 hr race.
the only time I watched an entire 24 hr race in one weekend was when I planned an 'adult vacation' on the same weekend and spent it all by the pool or in the room watching the race.
In reply to Austincrx :
Yeah, time demands are a reason I'm fine with just waiting the week or two for IMSA to post the race on its YouTube channel or on its free app. I'm getting over any sense of fomo, plus, I like the announcers better than the ones on NBC/Peacock.
