Thank you for celebrating enthusiasm for automotive hobbies rather than bashing people who don't share the same kind as you. Slammed cars will never be good for motorsports, but keeping cool cars alive and looking good is worthy of praise.

Each November Simply Clean rolls into Daytona Beach, our hometown. It’s not a competition but a celebration of machines–specifically those that have been slammed, polished and lovingly caressed.
We go to take it in: It’s a chance to soak in new ideas and new enthusiasm.
The date for the next one has been announced: November 23, 2019.

These are the kind of car events that I like to point to when people say "the young kids just aren't interested in cars anymore."
I went once back in 2013, for some reason I just didn't enjoy myself even though a ton of my friends at the time had bagged vw's and it was fun taking pictures while I was there since there was a lot of nice stuff.
I guess I was just bored and annoyed I woke up at 5am and wasted 3 hours driving from Tampa to Daytona. Yet here I am driving 1.5 hrs for autocross due to the loss of Brooksville and enjoying it lol.
I love these kind of events because the owners are usually better detailers than I'll ever be. Plus they usually look cool.

Thank you. And, yes, we're all in this together.
A few years back some friends joined me at Simply Clean. Was it their style? Not exactly. Did we all learn stuff, see cool cars and have fun? Yup.
I just registered the Challenge car for a similar event here in Atlanta called Clean Culture. Looks like cars + fun to me!
My detailing is blowing dust out of the rally car with a leaf blower. I probably wouldn't fit in well there lol.

I highly recommend checking them out on Facebook or their Instagram. Lots of amazing cars to oogle.
