The car: His 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera, currently wearing ‘80s-tastic Yokohama A008-P tires and just given an annual physical by Lou at Aero Dynamics of Daytona Beach.
Vans on our editor's feet? Of course.
Swatch, too? Well, his high school one has gone missing, and the one from college is just tagged so a fresh one has been ordered. It’s the details, right?
Something special planned for the day? Yup. But no spoilers–well, for now just the ones on the car.

So, seriously, anyone see my high school Swatch? I know I had one. My brother remembers it.
I, honestly, was a little fuzzy, but looking at photos has helped me remember: a High Tech II from the 1984 collection.
But no idea where it is/went. And based on the condition of the one I wore in college–the gold one pictured–I wonder if it even survived.
Still, be nice to have it.
And, of course, at Radwood I'll be representing some friends who made the '80s just a little radder: Maurice from the Curb Dogs and Mike and Perry from Agent Orange. 
I was in a pretty good surf rock punkish band in Santa Cruz that covered Agent Orange's "The Last Goodby". Fun Band!! Fun era!...

They're currently on tour, and I'll be seeing them later this week. :)
I'll be at the Philly one, sartorial choices to be decided. I do have a straight edge Swatch though...
I'd love to find my old Swatch. The fact that my newer one is dated from the year after I started college has me wondering. Did I lose my original? Finally kill it? Give it away?
While looking for it, I did find a box sealed when my parents sold our New York house 20+ years ago. These were inside:
