The ever-brilliant minds behind all things Lemons (except for the actual fruit) today announced the dates for the Lemons Rallies and Concours d'Lemons, as well as the schedule for races in Australia and New Zealand for 2020.

LEMONS RALLY, CONCOURS d’LEMONS, LEMONS OZ/NZ RELEASE SCHEDULES
Emeryville, CA—Citing a need to “extend their influential poor tastes” beyond American racetracks, Lemons has released its 2020 schedules for the Lemons Rally, Concours d’Lemons, 24 Hours of Lemons Australia, and 24 Hours of Lemons New Zealand. The move follows the release of the 24 Hours of Lemons’ American endurance-race calendar for 2020.
The Lemons Rally will again feature five roadgoing hooptie road trips in 2020. The Retreat From Moscow and Hell On Wheels Monterey rallies both return while the Route 66 Rally also reappears after a year’s absence. New to the Lemons Rally calendar are The Rocky Mountain Breakdown in Colorado and the Fall Fail-iage Tour in New England.
Concours d’Lemons returns with four shows in the United States and one abroad. These typically accompany ritzy big-dollar car shows, bringing the “oddball, mundane, and truly awful” to appreciative audiences. In 2020, those shows include Amelia Island (Florida), the Concours d’Elegance of America (Detroit-ish), and Pebble Beach (California). Concours d’Lemons will also add a date for HooptieCon at New Jersey Motorsports Park alongside the 24 Hours of Lemons. Additionally, the Concours d’Lemons Down Under returns to Adelaide, South Australia, for its third year.
The 24 Hours of Lemons Australia also has seven confirmed racing dates Down Under with more to be announced. Those include Lemons Australia standbys like Winton Motor Raceway and Wakefield Park. Across the Tasman Sea, the 24 Hours of Lemons New Zealand will continue to hold that country’s only ever 24-hour race at Bruce McLaren Motorsports Park ahead of two dates at Hampton Downs.

About the Lemons Rally
The Lemons Rally is the roadgoing counterpart to the 24 Hours of Lemons (an irreverent endurance
racing series for $500 cars). The Lemons Rally began in 2016 to take ugly and unappreciated cars
on long, tough road trips to atypical tourist destinations. Rallies include offbeat landmarks,
spectacular views, and a speed-dating approach to tourism. Automotive journalist Jay Lamm
founded the 24 Hours of Lemons in 2006 to create affordable racing with an emphasis on fun.
About the Concours d’Lemons
The Concours d’Lemons is the car-show accompaniment to the 24 Hours of Lemons and Lemons
Rally. Concours d’Lemons shows celebrate the “oddball, mundane, and truly awful of the
automotive world.” Attendees vie for trophies like the Chronic Dick Teague Award (for American
Motors’ products) and Slightly Better Than a Go-Kart Trophy with top “honors” going to the Worst of Show.
