Lexus NX 350 F Sport: Do you need a mid-sized, luxury SUV?

When talking about the Lexus NX 350–or, really, the brand’s entire line–we feel the need to start with the grille. Yes, it’s big, it’s prominent and it might remind you of Predator.

But, truth be told, it’s grown on us. There’s no mistaking that, yep, this is a Lexus.

And that pretty much means good things are in store as Lexus manages to blend together traditional and contemporary. You don’t need to consult the owner’s manual to shift out of drive, for example, with the center screen tastefully integrated into the dash.

You don’t get all the traditional buttons and knobs for the HVAC, though, although you do get knobs for the temperature. (Thank you, Lexus, it’s like you know us.)

Those switches, another Lexus hallmark, click with the right click. It feels like a luxury car. Love the giant sunroof.

The seats in our 2023 NX 350 F Sport AWD felt divine: comfortable and with ample support. (This is nothing new when it comes to Lexus seats.)

Ditto the steering wheel. It’s the right thickness and, fortunately, not given a D shape, the latest hotness–rather unnecessary in an SUV.

On the road, the NX 350 is smooth, quiet and composed. This is the one you could drive from coast to coast.

These middle-sized Lexus SUVs might be today’s sleepers for those seeking comfort and convenience.

The price for this? About $50,000.
