No, you aren't looking at a $2000 Challenge car. This is a Biagini Passo.
Essentially, it's the body of a Mk1 Golf Cabriolet dropped on the chassis of a Mk2 Golf Country. The work was completed by ACM Automobili, best known for its work on Fiat models.
The Passo had all the makings of a fun offroad runabout, save for the 98 horsepower inline-four.
Want your own? Good luck finding one. High estimates say that as many as 300 were made, but others believe there may be fewer than 100 in existence.
