Here at Grassroots Motorsports, we’re always looking for new twists to add to our $2000 Challenge to keep competitors on their toes.

In 2022, we opened the competition to cars built for more than $2000. For 2023, we’re excited to announce–drumroll please–that there will be no course work.

That’s right, while competitors are enjoying the autocross, a team of paid workers will handle picking up the cones.

The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack is our annual low-buck celebration where penny-pinching and extreme speed meet. The 2023 event returns to Gainesville Raceway in Gainesville, Florida, this time set for May 27-28.

In reply to GameboyRMH :

I sought out the most dramatic photo from the Challenge involving a competitor and a cone. It was a tough competition, but this one won out thanks to the drama the smoke adds. wink

Edit: Fixed
