The forthcoming P1 Motor Club will contain all the expected country club amenities–pool, spa and even pickleball–but the plan for this 650-acre facility doesn’t ignore nonmembers. In addition to the 4.5-mile P1 Circuit built for member use, the South Florida complex will also feature the Treasure Coast Circuit, a 3.2-mile track open to nonmembers.
“Think of Treasure Coast as everything Moroso had,” founding partner/CEO Ari Straus told us during the March 10 groundbreaking. “It’s being designed to FIA grade 3 levels, which means we’ll hold everything up to Michelin Pilot and SRO–just not IndyCar or WeatherTech/Rolex.” Then he listed several possible renters: SCCA, Chin Track Days, Porsche Club of America, Apex Driving Events and David Murry Track Days.
“This is not just a country club where people think there’s no way to be able to access some of what we’ve created here,” he continued. “That’s why we have the Treasure Coast community to also bring people in from the outside to experience that and also give a tour of the P1 side.”

P1 Motor Club is located in Port St. Lucie, Florida, about 10 minutes west of I-95. Officials aim to have cars on the P1 Circuit early in 2026. “We are currently planning on breaking ground on the Treasure Coast Circuit in Q4 2026 for initial driving Q4 2027,” explains Aurora Straus, pro racer and also a founding partner.

If you go off the track on a corner, it will be a long fall down to the ground. (yes I know the illustration is just to show elevation, but it was funny in my mind...)
So, it started pouring a few seconds after I snapped the photo of the sign. I drove to the location for the actual ceremony, and it’s raining cats and dogs.
When the rain paused for a minute, those involved ran out, turned some dirt, and ran back under the tent before the next wave of rain–which came a few seconds later.
Of course, by the time everything ended for the day, the weather had turned decent. Welcome to Florida.

Giant catch nets.
Personally, I’m very excited about this project. Getting a new track two hours away is always a good thing, while I go back with the Straus family. In fact, they even had homemade cookies and treats at the groundbreaking. I grabbed a brownie. Yep, made by a mom.
There seems to be a lot of these "private motor clubs" opening up or in construction. Within a few hours of me, both Flat Rock in Tennesee and 10 Tenths in Charlotte are about to open up, I think both tracks are pretty much finished. I know Flat Rock is supposedly ultra-exclusive, we'll see if 10 Tenths is the same. It's nice to see at least one of these projects making room for the more Grassroots end of the spectrum.

Yeah, we're getting one right up the road from me, too. Sounds like it's members-only, unfortunately.

Is that a cross kart on the left?
