The fourth race on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship schedule heads up the coast of California to the famed Laguna Seca for a 2-hour and 40-minute competition around the 2.2-mile circuit on May 14.

The big news is that a new challenger enters the GTP field, the No. 5 JDC-Miller Motorsports Porsche 963, the first GTP customer car to compete and the ninth entry in the class.

Also making a new entry is Andretti Motorsports, who, for the first time, will be competing in GTD. The team’s weapon of choice? The No. 94 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 with Jarett Andretti and Gabby Chaves behind the wheel.

As well, a celebration is in order for Corvette Racing’s Antonio Garcia, who will make his 100th race start since the 2014 merger that gave us the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The green flag for the 2023 Motul Course de Monterey Powered by Hyundai N drops at 12:10 p.m., 3:10 p.m. Eastern. For more information about the race, including race and broadcast schedules, visit imsa.com.
