Heading to the 2021 Performance Racing Industry show this week, December 9-11 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana? Swing by the Grassroots Motorsports booth–just look for booth number 3133 in the Yellow Hall–and get up close with Team Hi-Speed's Civic Type R TC race car co-driven by GRM contributor Christina Lam. We hear that she might be stopping by the booth to answer questions and hang out.

Built by Honda Performance Development as a turn-key race car, the Type R TC makes use of a production-based Type R powerplant backed by an OEM six-speed manual transmission. Depending on the series entered, the Type R TC is capable of 270 to over 330 horsepower.

Since its introduction back in late 2019, the TC race car has scored a number of victories and podium finishes in the TC America series at Road America, Watkins Glen, Circuit of the Americas, Indianapolis and many more.
