I like the car - I sort of need a truck for my job but I would consider a car in the future and my wife can drive the SUV/Crossover thing she loves. I like the RWD idea but not sure about enough power with the V6? I imagine it's probably okay.
I was just talking to an Illinois State Police officer and he said the V8 Caprices do nothing great except out accelerate all the other cop cars otherwise they are crap - uncomfortable, handles awful, no room inside.

Sounds like a good description of a racecar to me.
In that vein of seeing GTOs here in the US re-baged and re-grilled as Holdens, can we expect to see former police car Caprices rebadged as Buick Park Aves?
You hear of the Cannonballers wanting to run in cars made to be nondescript... nothing says nondescript quite like a Buick Park Ave. Although, also nothing is quite as nondesctript as a Chevy SS with the SS badges removed.

Uncomfortable, handles like crap. That's a decent description of most police cars .
It's surprising how dull and dated it looks, and it's only a few years old. Not that it was exciting then. (Still better than ugly and trendy) At least they got the drivetrain right.

Maybe modern. My old 9C1's were none of that. Handled great and tons of room.
many of the larger cars in China have extended back seat area for legroom , because many of the rich people have a driver , so the owners spend a long time in the back and want to have the room to work in traffic......
Somehow I do not see a boatload coming over here for cop cars !
PG County cops used to say No RoomInA Lumina. Must be a thing.
