It’s a long-wheelbase 1974 Jaguar XJ6 fitted with a 350-cubic-inch Chevy V8 lifted from a 1975 truck, Eric Gillis explains. One of his former students found it at a police auction in Hayward, California. “The pick-and-pull-sourced Thule bike rack and garaged-sourced vinyl fox stripes make this car Concours d’LeMons ready,” he notes. “This car is waiting for the next owner to take it to a true pimp or Dakar Rally level of prep.”

I am fascinated by what is probably a 1974-only, awful front bumper extension. It must be exceptionally rare, because I can't even find a photo of another one.

That was for sale on here for a long time. Did it sell? Or did the owner decide to keep?

I was wondering that too. I also was wondering if my wife wanted to have a mini vacation without the kids driving that back from... California?
