Back in August, we highlighted tygaboy’s unusual choice for a track day car, an early 2000s Mercedes-Benz CL500.
The synopsis is that the car was acquired in exchange for some fabrication work for the CL500's previous owner. When we last left off, the car was in the process of being gutted down to a sub-3000-pound weight while the rear suspension was getting replaced.
Fast forward to today, however, and we can confidently say this build has gotten even wilder, as now project has become a mid-engine track car.
