Pure craziness. I simply don't get it at all.

Have you seen all the crazy bidding that’s going on with this 1993 Ford Saleen Mustang SC Spyder over on Bring a Trailer?
We actually wrote about this very car in our sister publication, Classic Motorsports, as part of a sampling of five unique Ford-powered cars.
At the time of writing, the highest bid is sitting at $185,000 with seven days left in the auction. What do you think it’ll reach when the hammer falls?
+1, don't understand.

I didn't really "get" Saleen fox bodies when they were new. I seem to remember at their price, there was usually equivalent factory performance from other cars. They were a car for someone who had to have a Mustang, but wanted it to be faster than stock, regardless of the what they had to pay. $185K (price as of this writing) just seems nuts, but all it takes is a couple of people who really want it.

In this neck of the woods that gets you a foreclosed fixer upper with the crime scene tape still up.
Still too much for a car but there's a lot of money flying around all slapdash right now.
Craig has often talked how that car was a keeper, but yesterday I saw his FB post about finally selling it. And, um, yeah, that escalated quickly.
