Want to see what all the hubbub is about with the SCCA Appalachian HillClimb Series? Head to downtown Pineville, Kentucky, on Friday, April 19, for the opening festival to find out. Did we mention it's free?

You’ll be able to see the participating cars and then some on the Courthouse Square from 4-8 p.m. There will be food, local shops open for business and live music.

If you want to compete in the Pine Mountain HillClimb, unfortunately it’s too late. It sold out within hours of registration opening. However, you can still spectate. Adult admission is just $5 and kids are free. Meet at the Bell Theater in town and a shuttle will take you to the spectator site.

Very cool. And cool to see an FSP 2002.

Good luck in your race, Sparkie!  My mom had an 1800 back in the day, which I like almost as much as a 2002.  So cool :)

Thank you! She's slow, but a ton of fun, and I do hold the FSP record now, even though they quit keeping track of supplemental classes at the end of last year... :/
