Does retirement always have to mean cutting ties for good? Not for SCCA’s Howard Duncan, who announced his retirement from full-time duty after 30 years at the sanctioning body.
Instead of leaving the Solo program for good, however, Duncan will transition to a part role with title of Senior Advisor to Solo–a position he will hold through “the fall of 2023.”
As a way to celebrate his many years of service, the SCCA has set up the Howard Duncan ProSolo Greenlight Fund, a program that will be used to “provide free ProSolo entries to select SCCA members who are attending their first ProSolo, thus removing a cost barrier to bringing new members into ProSolo” according to SCCA Foundation Chairman Jeff Jacobs.
