This weekend, May 1-2, marks the inaugural SCCA Pine Mountain HillClimb Presented by Grassroots Motorsports, taking place at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Pineville, Kentucky.
The hillclimb is not open to spectators, though the city of Pineville is hosting an event on Friday night from 5-10 p.m. that will allow locals to see the cars and drivers. Cars will be escorted by police from the paddock area to downtown, where there will be music and outdoor dining.
GRM Publisher Tim Suddard and photographer Perry Bennett will also be there.
