Know a female driver who loves autocrossing with the SCCA? Consider nominating them to receive the 2022 Wendi Allen Scholarship–a fund designed to benefit female drivers who want to compete in SCCA autocross or wish to grow their involvement in the program.
Nominations or applications must be submitted by March 1, 2022, after which a “selection committee of successful female SCCA Solo drivers” will pick three women to receive $1500 each to help them travel to National Solo events, including the Solo Nationals Championship.
In addition, the SCCA will waive entry fees to all National Solo events for the scholarship winners.
Created by the family of the late Wendi Allen, a multi-national championship driver, the scholarship also offers one of the winners who competes in a Mazda to receive support from Mazda.
The other two scholarship winners will receive their support through the SCCA Foundation.
