If Alice Cooper wheeling around a vintage Studebaker Avanti isn't cool, I don't know what is.
BTW, saw him open for Iron Maiden a few years back now. He's still got it.

Yep, the School’s Out guy.
The occasion: A Zoom call announcing the winner of the Cooper Tire "Driven to Perform" Garage Band Contest, with the prize being the opening slot for Evanescence on May 13. Alice was joined by members of Evanescence, including founding member and singer Amy Lee.
A little background from the release:
"Cooper Tire has partnered with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Alice Cooper to discover the country’s best garage band and next rising stars in rock. The “Coopers” scoured the nation to choose three top bands for the “Driven to Perform” Garage Band Contest. The band that receives the most votes online wins the opening act spot for Evanescence at a livestream concert next month."
The winners are South of Eden, a four-piece rock band out of Ohio. They seem very nice and appreciative of the opportunity.
But main focus of the talk: battle of the bands and, particularly, garage bands. “Battle of the bands is such an American tradition,” Alice said. “I don’t think rock is dead," he added. “Rock is living in garages.”
Another thing stressed: Check out those opening bands as it’s a way to discover new music. “We opened for the Doors,” he noted. “We opened for the Mothers of Invention.”
Alice also discussed his love of the automobile. “First of all, I’m from Detroit,” he told our group. “Horsepower is in my DNA." In addition to a new Corvette and other late-model hardware, he also owns an early Mustang and Studebaker Avanti.

Cool music, thanks for putting that up.
Singer sounds a little like Myles Kennedy.
