The $2000 Challenge is upon us! Share your updates here.

The time is upon us, the Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack and Powered by AutoBidMaster is here. The action starts on Saturday, March 28 and runs through Sunday, March 29, at Gainesville Raceway.

What’s in store?

• See fast, creative builds put together for less than $2000.
• Find out if more money equals more speed: Cars over the $2000 Challenge budget can compete in autocross, drag racing or both.
• Meet, mingle and hear from pro racer Randy Pobst.
• See cool cars during Sunday morning’s Hagerty Cars & Caffeine.
• Hang out with your favorite GRM staff members and forum members.
• Compete against your friends for ultimate bragging rights.
• Several prizes totaling more than $11,000 in value on the line, including a Tier 1 Membership from AutoBidMaster, $500 Tire Rack gift cards as well as Grassroots Motorsports store gift cards.

Plus, it’s not too late to register your car, whether it’s built or bought for under $2000 or over that amount.

Don’t have a car to participate with? No problem. Spectators are welcome to attend.

Plus, as an added bonus, on Monday, March 31, we’ll be hosting a Grassroots Motorsports Track Day at The FIRM, our official test track, located just 30 minutes east of Gainesville Raceway. Sign up to get in on the fun of a full day of track time with much less traffic than many other track days. Randy Pobst will be there, as well as many members from Grassroots Motorsports, and there will even be free food.
