It sounded like such a good idea at the time: Hey, let's turn this partially prepared Lincoln Mark VII oval-track car into an endurance racer. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, plenty.

But we had fun, learned some stuff, and built a head-turning car in the process. And, best of all, the scars have healed.
