Time Trials at Gingerman Raceway Mean the Tire Rack One Lap of America Is on the Home Stretch

Today is the last stop on the Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports before it returns to the start/finish line at Tire Rack headquarters in South Bend, Indiana.

Today’s activities comprise of two time trial sessions at Ginergman Raceway in South haven, Michigan. Tomorrow, the last day of the event, will feature a skid pad challenge at Tire Rack headquarters.

Currently, the top five positions are almost the same as our last update, though GRM contributor–and frequent tire abuser–Andy Hollis has crept up into fifth place after battling some cooling issues on Day 5 (full results are available here):

1. No. 4 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 driven by Steve Loudin and Tom O’Gorman
2. No. 9 Honda S2000 driven by Alexander Moss and Andy Smedegard
3. No. 2 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Christopher Lewis and Robert Thorne
4. No. 16 Shelby GT500 driven by Solomon Rosenthal and Beaver Nugget Billy
5. No. 3 McLaren 720S driven by Andy Hollis and Ann Hollis
