Turn 14 Distribution Acquires Motovicity Distribution

Turn 14 Distribution has announced its acquisition of parts distributor Motovicity.

The agreement hands virtually all of Motovicity's assets to Turn 14, and ceases any and all operations of Motovicity going forward.

"A majority of Motovicity’s employees" will be offered employment opportunities within Turn 14.

Horsham, PA (May 20, 2020) Turn 14 Distribution, Inc. (“Turn 14 Distribution”), a leading distributor of high-performance automotive parts and accessories for a full assortment of passenger cars, light trucks and race vehicles, headquartered in Horsham, Pennsylvania, and Motovicity Distribution, Inc. (“Motovicity”), a leading distributor of high-performance automotive parts and accessories for a full assortment of passenger cars and race vehicles, based in Madison Heights, Michigan, announced today that they have signed a definitive agreement under which Turn 14 Distribution will acquire substantially all of Motovicity’s assets for an undisclosed price. Turn 14 Distribution will extend employment offers to a majority of Motovicity’s employees.

Motovicity’s story began in 2002 when a diverse group of enthusiasts, racers, and business professionals came together in the pursuit of redefining the automotive performance aftermarket from the Motor City. In 2013, Motovicity was recognized by its peers as SEMA’s 2013 Warehouse Distributor of the Year. Motovicity is a leader in wholesale-only distribution, offering products from some of the industry’s most recognized brands to some of its most revered builders.

This transaction marks Turn 14 Distribution’s first asset purchase agreement since its formation in 2007. Moving forward, Motovicity’s operations will cease and the company will operate exclusively under the name Turn 14 Distribution.
