Thanks to a new partnership between Vitour and the SCCA, the Vitour Tempesta P1 is not only welcome in SCCA Solo and Time Trials, but it's encouraged.
Effective immediately, Vitour is the “preferred tire” of the Time Attack Challenge, Time Trials Nationals, and Shootout. Vitour will also be the presenting sponsor of SCCA’s ProSolo Super, Ladies, and Bonus Challenge awards.

Likewise, Vitour will sponsor the Test-n-Tune course at the remaining 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour events and the 2025 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships.
But wait, here’s the best part: Vitour will offer contingency payouts for drivers using the its tires in the Solo National Tour, ProSolo Championship Series, Shootout and Time Attack Challenge.
“Getting SCCA approval has been a long journey, but one made easier by my unwavering belief that the Vitour Tempesta P1 would be a valuable addition to both the SCCA and the broader grassroots racing community,” said Dallas Reed, owner of Vitour USA. “Becoming a partner and sponsor of the SCCA–and being named the ‘Preferred Tire’–is both an honor and a privilege.”
Heyward Wagner, SCCA’s Vice President of Rally/Solo and Experiential Programs, added to that sentiment by noting out just how important the partnership is:
“Through this partnership, SCCA is able to invest more deeply in the member experience, making events more fun, dynamic, and financially rewarding. And, while many have been impressed with the performance of the P1, both in pace and wear, this partnership stands as testimony to the work done by the Vitour USA team to elevate the brand in the United States.”
