Safe race, everyone.

Drivers facing an arctic blast this weekend–or just those too lazy to go outside after the holiday rush–still have an excellent opportunity for some high-stakes motorsports action right from the comfort of home.
Tom O’Gorman and D.J. Alessandrini–hosts of the Lizard Brains: Driving Drivers podcast–will hold the Lizard Brains GT-4 Hour on iRacing. The enduro in GT4 machinery takes place at virtual Road Atlanta on Saturday, January 4, at 10 a.m. Eastern. It also features a live broadcast and $1500 in prizes.
SRO and Gridlife announcer Kyle Heyer will provide live commentary of the race through SymTV. Hawk Performance will pony up four axles worth of brake pads for the winning team of drivers. Additional prizes available for teams running the proper liveries including Hawk and GRM signage. Certainly, we also have a discerning eye for a properly executed GRM livery when we’re choosing photos post event. Just sayin’.
The Lizards would like this to be a competent, confident field providing good racing and a good show. If you’re not a member of the regular Lizard Brains sim scene, you can apply for entry by joining their Discord channel: https://discord.gg/SdqPRm2N5K.
Full details on entries, prizes, team and livery requirements are there, as well as some great coaching and prep resources, and a great community. If you’d like to download a few approved GRM logos for your sim racer, you can get those here.
