The virtual version of the Bathurst 12 Hour sportscar enduro at Australia’s legendary Mt. Panorama circuit will take place on the iRacing platform during the February 26-28 weekend, and several of our GRM Sim league regulars are donning their koala-themed virtual driving suits to take part in the event.
Since so many teams from all around the world are competing, multiple instances of the race are taking place, with the 55-car fields taking the green flag at times ranging from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon.
Our first full GRM team, consisting of Art Director J.G. Pasterjak, as well as autocrossers Chris Harp, Eric Anderson and Karl Edward, look poised for an early Saturday morning start in a GT3-spec BMW M4. Other GRM league regulars are forming teams, and we’ve created a dedicated channel on our Discord server for drivers looking for teams, teams looking for drivers, setup advice, and all other Bathurst-related discussions. Access our Discord server, use this link.
Several broadcasts from teams and broadcast services of various race servers will likely be available, and we’ll post those when we find out about them. We'll also keep everyone updated on our progress via our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during the race.
