Sunny skies. A most historic race track. Star-studded racing talent. And thousands of GRM readers.

Welcome to the Grassroots Motorsports Experience at the Rolex 24 At Daytona. We put out the welcome mat. You all turned a tent into a home. Thank you, thank you.

Thank you, fans, for joining us throughout the weekend. After kicking off the weekend at the Ormond Brewing Company, together we took in a thriller of a race while breaking bread, growing friendships, and learning more about the sport that we love.

Then throw in the surprises: hot laps, visits to the starter stand and pit lane plus a midnight tour featuring a fully stocked expert panel, including the recently named IMSA President John Doonan.

We also checked out some Porsches, ran into a few motorsports celebs and, yes, watched some racing.

The Grassroots Motorsports Experience at the Rolex 24 At Daytona doesn’t come together without some help. The weekend is presented by Hagerty in association with  Spec, BBS, Intercomp and G Tech Cleaning Solutions. Special thanks to Krispy Kreme DoughnutsIllumin8er and wirewheel.com.

So, too early to plan for 2021?

Wait; sunny skies, no rain? This race was obviously run elsewhere and piped in.
