Did you know that legendary race car driver Brian Redman got his start in racing in a supercharged Morris 1000 Traveler? Or that he raced the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1969 with a hastily mended broken arm? Can you name his favorite co-driver?
Well, you would know the answer to all these questions if you read our interview with the famed driver over on Classic Motorsports.

In my youth I wanted to be a professional race car driver. I started early with a burning ambition and quickly found that only the front of the pack got any attention and that was occupied by very wealthy or much older drivers with a whole lot more knowledge and drive than I could bring to the table.
Others with ambition like me wound up being track bums. Working insane hours for a few moments of glory a year.
I don't regret a moment but it's not about skill and desire. Luck and connections play a massive part in success.
