What car are you picking from the Lego vending machine?

I think I came across one of them in Las Vegas and very quickly walked past it while holding my wallet shut

There was one in the Ontario, CA airport the morning of my fly-n-drive for the C8. I sent my wife a picture and asked what we shoudl get for my college aged kids. 

Unfortunately, it doesn't have anything I'd want to build ATM. I'm about 2/3 through the Technic Land Rover Defender I started in January.  I impulse bought the McClaren MP4/4 when we were at the Lego store a couple weeks ago. I'm on the fence about keeping it or returning it. 

This sounds like a clever deal for a long layover ... or a delay. Time to see if I can expense Legos from an airport vending machine and file it under entertainment.

Of the three cars in question, build the Countach. It's a surprisingly good model. There's one sitting on my desk right now.

Luckily, most of the sets I need are usually just out of my price range.

Or it could be content! "J.A. Has a 45 min layover, the gate is on the other side of the airport. He can only board the plane once he finishes building his Lego set...will he make it before the doors fall off....I mean close (pls don't murder me Boeing)"

Given what airports charge for soda pop, those Kits should top out at $57.

given the propensity of people to remove there shoes on long flights, maybe knowing that the opportunity to step on a lego is possible they will think twice.  

on that note, do you just burn the socks that you were wearing on an international flight when you walked into an airplane bathroom sans shoes on a transcontental flight?
