Ever look at your friend's car and think, "I should make a fiberglass copy of that, but I don't want to tell them about it?" That's pretty much what Mickey Thompson and Bill Burke did with a Cisitalia 202 acquired by Bob Petersen. This all happened many years ago.
Those fiberglass bodies, designed to be fitted over an MG T-series chassis, were originally sold under the name Atlas, and later under the name Allied.
That’s where this 1952 MG "Cisitalia" Special comes in. Notable for being the only known Allied body fitted to an MG TD, this special was lost for some time before being discovered in 2006–and now it's for sale.
