I don't know why, but just looking at this car makes me smile. It is so boxy, but also kinda cute. You can't tell me this does not look like a sleepy face. –_–

If you think this Ford looks like pretty much any other third-gen Escort XR3, you’d be right–mostly, at least.
This XR3 is actually a rare “TF” model. Only 500 were ever made, all of which were only available only in South Africa.
More specifically, the XR3 TF–the TF stands for “Team Ford”–was produced to celebrate the success of the Span Ford rally team in South Africa.
The car was imported into the U.K. in 2022 (potentially making it the only XR3 TF in the country, per the seller) and is currently fitted with an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust and exhaust manifold.
Find this 1983 Ford Escort XR3 TF for auction with an estimated value of £10,000-£12,000, or approximately $12,866-$15,429. (Note: The car will need to be imported into the U.S. after the auction closes, as it currently resides in the U.K.)

Well, yeah. It has "Team Ford" decals.
It looks like nobody really wants this car; it has a long history of not being sold at auctions and the price/reserve has been lowered several times.

Wait a minute, I thought Africa (the continent) was mostly correct hand drive. Does it vary from country to country? SA is not a British colony, why are they RHD?
