At the 2007 SCCA Runoffs, both Showroom Stock B (SSB) and Touring 2 (T2) classes saw a Pontiac Solstice finish in first place. So, what better way to celebrate than by offering limited edition models of the very car that won?

That’s exactly what Pontiac did, with the SCCA T2 Champion Edition and SCCA SSB Champion Edition. This Solstice is the latter of the two.

Information in the listing is sparse, but does bill the car as having 43,500 miles.

Located in Lady Lake, Florida, this 2008 Pontiac Solstice SCCA SSB Champion Edition is listed at $12,500.

Is clearly a "base" NA engine with 5 speed, not the Turbo which is really the engine you want. But this could be fun and great for someone looking to enjoy cruising and the occasional twisty road. Not enough power for hardcore racing people.  (I have a Saturn Sky)

BTW: How's the headroom in the Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice? I've been contemplating going in that direction.

Dunno about headroom, but I test drove one more than a decade ago and was struck by how a two seater convertible, with the top down, had such huge blind spots.

I'm 5'11". Seat as low as it goes, and as far back as it goes. Haven't brushed the top with various hats and poofy hair styles. I also usually have a fairly upright seating position.

Headroom is not great. It's not "totally bad", but you'd want to test fit one before committing for sure. The door opening is really small of course.

Unlike Mr_Asa, I don't think there is a blind spot with the top down. I know a lot of ppl don't have proper mirror angles. With the top up, yeah it's def got a spot where you can't overlap mirror coverage.
