We recently ran a full article on the Mercedes-Benz 500 E in our magazine. If you aren’t familiar with these Q-ships, it might be worth a read. We bring that article up because a very nice looking 1992 500 E just popped up for sale by Palm Beach Classics for $29,500. According to Hagerty, that’s just about the right price for a number 3 (good) condition car, and prices appear to be trending slowly upwards.

Jay Lenno did a thing on them last season he said it was an excellent investment. I drove on about a year ago and it was a high mileage well used one and it was a really fun car. They were asking 20k. It sold in less than a week.
Slowly upwards? These things have been on a lunar trajectory for the past year or two.
