Saleen may be best known for adding big power to Mustangs, F-150s and just about anything else with a Ford badge, so what did it do the ZX3 Focus to make it into the Saleen N2O Focus?
Aside from some upgraded suspension bits, that rad body kit and aftermarket wheels, not a single thing–unless you count the nitrous tank mounted in the trunk, which wasn’t even filled or hooked up to anything. (Contemporary reviews of the N2O noted that hooking up the tank would void the engine warranty.)
Now, you can have one of those N2O Focuses for yourself. The seller has maintained the car since acquiring it in April of 2022, replacing several suspension parts, as well as the brake pads, fuel filter, spark plugs and more. And, par for the course, the nitrous system “is just missing the fuel rail adapter and small fuel line.”
Located in Fort Pierce, Florida, this Saleen N2O Focus is listed at $9500.
I owned #44, and yes the warranty was voided if you hooked up the bottle. Not many people knew what they were and just assumed I put sticker on the car. Mine was the same blue, not sure if they all were
