Wow. I have a miata or a Hemi Grand Cherokee I'd trade for that in a heartbeat. Might trade both.
Dunno how long I'd trust a boosted midget motor though... that might have to go
Looking for a unique classic to pull out of the garage on the weekends? This modified MG Midget might just fit the bill. The seller says both the suspension and engine have been highly modified—including the addition of a blow-through turbocharger setup. This ad is a little vague, but the asking price of $4000 seems reasonable for what could be a very fun little car.

I'm not too worried about the boosted A-series, except that it needs MegaSquirt instead of a carb, stat.
It's too far anyway, so call it sour grapes, but the stretched tires call lots of decisions into question for me. To each their own, but that's not a choice you make if your emphasis is on function over appearance, and it's an appearance which is not just lesser, but at odds with function.
These grapes are so sour I'm going to have to go suck a lemon to unpucker.
Triumph engine - not an A-Series. I'm not sure BL turbo'ed the Triumph engine in anything, so it's very likely a homebrew.
Other end is that the rear axle, if stock, wont take much abuse if you want to race it. Upgrades cost about another $1k ish and even then...
Personally, if you want power and mods and dont care about being traditional, there is no reason to keep the engine stock. ESPECIALLY if its the 1500.
Drop in a sportbike engine.
