If you came here to see a Ford Ranger get upgraded with a set of coil-overs and maybe some slicks, then you might be disappointed.

Instead, user James O'Day is building a custom Ford Ranger as a tribute to the SCCA mini truck racing of the 1980s, but this one features a 3.7-liter V6 out of a 2015 Mustang, double wishbones at all four corners, and a custom chassis made from an amalgamation of space frame and ladder designs.

Why is all this necessary? Well, James O'Day is planning on using this Ranger to conquer both the autocross and the rallycross circuits.
