Nice! What's the yellow coupe in the back of the garage?
The LeGrand uses a late-'80s Kawasaki Ninja engine that has been warmed over by Muzzy.
The chassis looks similar to the one on our LeGrand project car, but like identical twins who lead different lives, they've turned out slightly different after 35 years.
This one is actually a center-seat car, which is theoretically better than our RHD car for autocross use.
And this is how four cars fit into two garage bays—buy smaller cars!
After attending the 2010 Solo National Championships, Per’s dad, Pete, was pretty psyched about B-Modified LeGrands. So, he found another car up in New York and dragged it home to Florida. It was originally built as a constructor kit, and Pete is the car’s third owner.
We’ve actually got a picture of this car on the same grid as our No. 12 at the 1987 Runoffs at Road Atlanta. Pete is in the process of getting the car ready for autocross use. That means replumbing, rewiring and making lots of other changes.
I would like to know more about the GTM- or at least have a good pictorial look at it. Mid engined B16 has a ring of promise to it. Thanks!
I smell a canoe! (last picture, hung up). No really, nice find, interesting to see the different setups, are you going to post a side by side comparison of the different bits?
Eerily similar to my garage - a DSR, a Sprite, a rowing shell, a Miata or and M3, 3 motorcycles, 1 kart...
