We get the green flag for our runs.

We had to pause for a second or two after our runs to catch our breath. The car is that fast.

We settled on approximately 12 psi of pressure in the tires for our runs—it seemed to work well on this concrete.

We had a successful trip to the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, overcoming cones and a bit of a rusty driver to finish third in the nation.

The LeGrand has even more potential under its fiberglass and aluminum skin, and we mean to keep at it for next year. The car is stunningly fast, and we’re still figuring out how to keep up with its potential. We finished 53rd on index out of 1122 competitors—that’s our best finish to date at Nationals in B-Modified.

Congratulations! That motor seems to have a very broad usable power band.
