We dropped the SE-R off at a detail shop this morning so it could get buffed out. One reason the paint job was so inexpensive was that they didn’t spend any time buffing or polishing the paint after it was laid down.
We’re being charged $65 to get the paint polished using a rubbing compound, a swirl remover and a layer of wax. We’ve gotten quite a few pylon scuffs in the past few months, so we were certainly due for some paint care.
