A bunch of Civic parts arrived this week, including our Russell brake lines, Hawk pads and Ground Control coil-overs. The Brembo rotors have been sitting in our office for a few weeks, but we didn’t want to install them with the old pads.
We’re going to run Hawk’s HPS street pads from and rear, while we ordered a set of HP Plus front pads for track use. As far as our springs go, the guys at Ground Control recommended 450 lbs./in. fronts and 340 lbs./in. rears. When matched with a 22mm rear anti-roll bar, they said we should do well. We’re waiting to hear back from them regarding exactly how far we should trim our bumpstops.
