After some down time while we worked on other projects, we're back on the yellow Miata.
We divided and conquered our tasks for the evening.
ChumpCar races often run at night, so auxiliary lighting is a good idea. The stock headlights still work.
We’ve been busy building various other projects, including our Ford Fiesta B-Spec racer, Factory Five Racing 818 kit and our early WRX wagon. Yeah, we get pretty busy around here. Now that we have some down time, we can get back on this crapcan racer.
We divided and conquered. Our goals for the night were to reacquaint ourselves with the project and get some small things done. We removed some extra weight like the charcoal canister for the evaporative emissions control system. We also finished some of the remaining welds on the Miatacage roll cage and installed some Hella lights to the hood. Since crapcan races sometimes run at night, we wanted to be ready for when darkness falls.
