Love the booger bushings! Made a world of difference in my Neon. Fidanza makes a very cost effective (cheap) short throw shifter also. How did the Quaife diff work for you?
No trick photography was involved in the making of this image--the car is actually moving under its own power.
Booger Bushings are made from bright green polyurethane--hence their name.
We got a chance to drive our ACR Neon on a few dirt roads and trails around our office. We even have some action photography to show for it. The Neon handles quite well, although it does feel like we need a little more ride height to plow through the rough stuff.
While our travels through the dirt were issue-free, the shift linkage popped apart on the return leg home. We nursed the Neon back to our garage while it was stuck in fifth gear. It turns out that the factory bushings for the shift linkage had broken; we replaced them with new pieces from Booger Racing. This was a quick and cost-effective fix.

Wow, I just realized how old this ACR Dodge neeon project is. Anyhow I'll post my comment. The brake rotors (drilled and slotted) appear to be installed on the wrong sides of the car. The slots are directional and your left front is on the right side and so forth. Great project though. It has inspired me into looking at the same car for racing fun.
