Neon Ready to Fire Up

Update by Per Schroeder to the Dodge Neon ACR project car

We used an aluminum flywheel from Spec Clutch.

A clutch from Spec Clutch was also fitted.

An adjustable bobble strut from Polybushings.com should keep the engine from moving too much.

And here's the engine, ready to rumble.

Our Neon ACR is almost ready to fire up after two years of slumber. We’ve installed the slightly freshened engine, and now we’re busy buttoning up loose ends.

Great choice on the Spec products! I've used Spec in the past and their products held up great (multiple track events in a modified SVT Contour). That bobble strut thingy is pretty neat, too.

how come you went w/ the expensive flywheel/clutch setup.

I went w/ the PT cruiser oem setup for mine, as the cost was ~$250 for everything and has more holding power than the neon one.
