The 2002 Civic Si is one of those cars that has the rear-view mirror glued to the windshield. While we like playing with the neat binary adhesives that you use for attaching said mirrors to glass, rear visibility in a race car is a very good thing, especially when you know you’re not going to be the fastest thing on track. We decided that a big-honking four-panel Wink mirror was the way to go. We hopped on to the Racer Parts Wholesale website and found our mirror for $18.99. Installation was pretty easy; we opted to use nuts and bolts instead of the sheet metal screws, but the roof has two layers of metal and the first was easy to drill through for the install. If we ever have to race backwards, we’ll have a serious tactical advantage with this little baby.
