Fixing Leaks

Our tuning was going well, but we couldn’t help but notice the smell of oil and antifreeze.

The culprits: a leaking radiator cap, a failing O-ring and old valve cover gaskets.

Our WRX finally feels like a real car—and a really fast one, too.

While we were upgrading our WRX at Mach V Motorsports, we noticed that it was leaking oil and smelled like antifreeze all the time.

Some more investigation, along with the help of Deren Ardinger from Mach V Motorsports, revealed that our car needed valve cover gaskets, an oil cooler O-ring, and a new radiator cap. We had them fix these leaks, as we were facing an 11-hour-long drive home the next day.

With these little issues fixed, our WRX finally feels like a real car—and a really fast one, too.
