Next week we’ll be taking our 2005 MINI Cooper to the dyno for some work. Our first task will be to use Red Line Oil‘s new PowerPack, which has all of the Red Line Oil, Transmission fluid, Water Wetter and Injection Cleaner you’ll need in one handy package. Next, we’ll be installing an ITG air filter from MyMINI. This will be followed by exhaust testing. We’ve got a Borla, MyMINI, Magnaflow and possibly Milltek exhaust systems for comparison.
To get an idea of real world performance, we tested our MINI’s 0-60 time on this sunny, 70-degree day. Here’s the numbers: 8.35 8.65 8.15 8.58 8.78 Average: 8.502
