For an idea of what a wagon like this can do go to my ride here: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/reader-rides/3086/
Too bad SOA has no plans of a Legacy GT wagon and that this is a "SEMA one off" because it would have replaced my wagon nicely!
Subaru built their Legacy GTk for track work, so we made plans for a dance at Sebring.
We usually start off slowly with our cars, breaking them in with something as easy as an autocross. Thanks to our schedule, however, our first event with this one was a track day—a Sebring weekend co-hosted by NARRA and PBOC. The Legacy GTk was built for performance, so we figured this was the place to get acquainted.
We had less than a week between the car’s arrival and our departure date, but Geoff at Andre’s Automotive fit us in for an alignment. While the car was on the rack, he also changed the oil and filled out the NARRA inspection sheet.
We’ll cover the whole weekend in the mag, but we can share some teasers. The car ran a little hot, but that gives us something to fix. And when the skies opened and the apexes were drowning, the Subaru shined.
